This was the best experience I've had travelling with Mountain Kingdoms. Our knowledgeable expert guide, the pristine wilderness and our energetic husky dogs made this an exceptional active adventure.
Fabulous adventure. Excellent trip itinerary away from the main tourist routes. Guide Pirjo was outstanding, her cooking for 3 full meals a day was second to none, she was patient and always upbeat.

Pleasant walks
The walks were always very pleasant with ever varying scenery, taking us through picturesque villages, meadows carpeted with wild flowers, gorges with soaring limestone cliffs, and beech and fir forests. The history of the Cathars was fascinating and we got to explore many imposing castles including Peyrepertuse castle, which was the most impressive.
This trip is designed for the keen road cyclist who gets out regularly on their bike and wants to be able to challenge themselves, whilst at the same time cycling through some of the best scenery, and enjoying the food and drink that the French Riviera is known for.

Beautiful scenery
This is a great gentle cycling holiday that is open to cyclists and non cyclists alike. The pace is very easy and the focus is very much about experiencing the beautiful scenery, the wonderful relaxed pace of life and the delicious cuisine that this region has to offer.

More than lived up to expectations
I have fond memories of rock climbing in the Verdon Gorge when I was in my 20Õs. I remember belaying my climbing partner perched on a tiny ledge and looking down into the gorge below thinking Òmy God that looks nice down there, I must come back and walk through it one day.Ó It took 40 years to cure that small itch and I can tell you the trek more than lived up to expectationsÓ. Do it, because it really is fantastic.

Startling turquoise waters
The plunging descent down the Imbert stairway, some exciting tunnels and the startling turquoise waters of the Verdon were my personal highlights from walking the gorge.

Excellent guide
Absolutely brilliant. Good value for money, but real benefit is the quality of the guides locally. Antoine was a superb leader, his general knowledge was excellent.

Brilliant white villages
Walking the south coast made my heart sing - the rugged interior, brilliant white villages, ruins of an ancient past and turquoise sea.

Undiscovered
All the attractions of southern Iceland, but with few other tourists.
It was a most enjoyable trip, made, as is often the case, by the people on the trek. Certainly our little group gelled very well and I think we all enjoyed the chat and companionship as much as the walking. Alberto our guide was excellent with a good appreciation of British humour and customs.
Just back from MK trip trekking in Dolomites - absolutely superb. A simply amazing holiday. I was extremely happy with every aspect of this trip. It was for me, hugely enjoyable.
I've trekked all over the world - but this is now one of my favourite destinations, I can't wait to go back.

Incredible views
The views were incredible and well worth the hike to the summits. Each summit being totally different and getting higher across the week, I felt a wonderful sense of achievement each time.
A wonderful week of coastal walking, helped by great weather, good wine and rather a lot of ice cream! Real highlights for me were the guided walk on Capri, and exploring Naples - what an incredible, underrated city. Definitely a taste of La Dolce Vita.
