Reputable - Ethiopia trek
Good group, well protected. A patient, friendly local leader, very reliable. We were very pleased to find that Mountain Kingdoms has a fine reputation there, everyone spoke highly of Mountain Kingdoms. The country has massive potential for tourism. Some very good close contact with Ethiopian people and culture, e.g. the Tej-house in Lalibela; coffee ceremony in village.

First-class staff
The standard of care given by your local agents was excellent. Our guide was absolutely amazing. Not only was his knowledge of all things Ethiopian amazing, but his interaction with people we met added a great deal to our understanding of local issues and generally added to our enjoyment of this trip. He looked after our interests with a passion and was very intuitive to our needs. All the staff were first-class throughout.

Well thought out itinerary
It was a well thought out itinerary and as on previous holidays with Mountain Kingdoms, the in-house tour staff were very efficient. The information in the pre trip dossier was very helpful.

Amazingly varied
This state has it all, from the highest and lowest points in Continental USA through to some of the lushest and driest places on the planet.

Incredible views
I love the south west of America, it's hard to comprehend the sheer scale of this area - it has incredible views and vast open skies that seem to go on forever.

Excellent itinerary
Comfortable transport, good organisation by our Tour Leader, who was always willing to help. Good accommodation and excellent itinerary.
The trip was brilliant, I loved it all. The Sacred Valley was an unexpected delight, the trek was just heaven, especially the Emerald Lake and Salkantay Pass, and the trip to Puno and Lake Titicaca was another delightful contrast. I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity for such a wonderful experience - thank you for making it possible in such comfort!
The mountain lodges were excellent and the guides, particularly for the trek, were fantastic. All food was of a very high standard and the staff everywhere were friendly and helpful. Everything was extremely well organised and we were taken care of superbly. The itinerary was perfect and the acclimatisation program in the Sacred Valley was an excellent idea. The balance between guided tours and free time was just right.... We couldn't have wished for a better holiday.

Did not disappoint
Peru is a country that does not disappoint, from the vibrant city of Cuzco to the Inca ruins that surround it, there is something for everyone. Machu Picchu was a definite highlight, with its majestic nature, historical past and brilliant views.
